Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats (blended into oat flour) or 100g oat flour
  • ½ cup peanut butter natural smooth
  • cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt flakes

Equipment

Method

Prepare Oat Flour:
  1. If using whole oats, add them to a high-speed blender and blend on high for 1 minute until they form a fine oat flour. If you already have oat flour, skip this step.
Mix Ingredients:
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the oat flour, peanut butter, maple syrup, and kosher salt. Mix well until the ingredients are thoroughly combined. The mixture may become stiff, so you might find it easier to mix and mash with your hands.
Add Chocolate Chips & Form Bites:
  1. Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  2. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
Enjoy:
  1. Your chocolate peanut butter oat bites are ready to enjoy! Store any leftovers in an airtight container.

Notes

- If the mixture is too dry, add peanut butter
- If the mixture is too wet, add more oat flour
-Adjust sweetness of mixture, by adding more or less maple syrup
- For a slightly different texture, you can chill the bites in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
- Feel free to experiment with add-ins like chopped nuts or dried fruit.
