- Begin by cutting the chicken breasts into strips, then season them with garlic salt and dried parsley.
- Beat the egg in a shallow bowl.
- Dip each chicken strip into the beaten egg, ensuring it's thoroughly coated.
- Next, spread the crushed cornflakes onto a plate. Coat each egg-dipped chicken strip with the crushed cornflakes, pressing gently to adhere. (To maintain crispiness, add the cornflakes to the plate gradually as needed.)
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Place the coated chicken strips in the oven, ensuring they're not overcrowded.
- Bake the chicken for 15-18 minutes.
- While the chicken cooks, prepare the garlic Parmesan topping. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Crush the garlic cloves and add them to the melted butter, along with the chopped parsley and chili flakes. Stir until fragrant and well combined.
- Once the chicken is cooked through and crispy, either drizzle the garlic mixture over the top or brush it onto the chicken using a pastry brush or spoon.
- Finally, generously sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over both sides of the chicken strips.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the delicious garlic Parmesan chicken tenders!
