Ingredients

Chicken
  • 2 large chicken breasts cut into bite-size cubes
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch
Honey Garlic Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 4 green onions chopped
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Method

  1. Season the chicken: Add the cubed chicken to a large bowl with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and cornstarch. Toss until every piece is evenly coated. (WATCH FULL VIDEO BELOW)
  2. Cook the chicken: Heat 2–3 tablespoon oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken in a single layer and cook for 7–8 minutes, flipping occasionally, until golden and fully cooked through.
  3. Mix the sauce: While the chicken cooks, whisk together soy sauce, water, and cornstarch in a small bowl. Set aside.
  4. Sauce it up: Lower the heat slightly. Add butter and honey to the pan, letting them melt and bubble for about 30 seconds. Pour in the soy sauce mixture and stir well. Simmer for 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken beautifully.
  5. Finish & serve: Turn off the heat and stir in the chopped green onions. Taste and adjust with salt and pepper if needed. Serve immediately over rice, with green beans or broccoli on the side. (WATCH FULL VIDEO BELOW!)
