Breakfast Burrito

This Easy Breakfast Burrito is going to be your new fav recipe! Whenever I don't know what to make for breakfast I always go with this option because it's quick, tasty & high in protein.

Ingredients
  

Eggs:
  • 2 tablespoon pork lard or oil
  • 4 eggs
  • Salt & pepper
Sausage:
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 1 sausage sliced
Assembly:
  • 2 tortillas
  • 2 American cheeses
  • Cooked sausage & eggs
  • 1 teaspoon butter

Method
 

Prepare the Eggs:
  1. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook the eggs to your preferred doneness, stirring occasionally. Set aside.
Cook the Sausages:
  1. Slice the sausages into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In the same pan, fry the sausage slices for about 5 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of crispiness.
Assemble the Burrito:
  1. Lay the tortilla flat and place one slice of American cheese in the center.
  2. Layer the cooked eggs and sausage slices on top of the cheese.
  3. Add the second slice of American cheese on top.
  4. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly to form a burrito.
Fry the Burrito:
  1. Heat the butter in the non-stick pan over medium heat.
  2. Place the burrito seam-side down in the pan and cook for about 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
  1. Remove the burrito from the pan, slice it in half, and serve immediately.
