Easy and Healthy Date Snickers Recipe

Got a sweet tooth? These stuffed dates will be your new favorite sweet treat! The best part... only five simple ingredients! I always make a big batch of these natural delights because they are such a crowd pleaser!

Ingredients
  

  • 10 medjool dates pitted
  • 3-4 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter
  • 50 g chopped peanuts
  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • Pinch of Celtic salt

  1. Begin by carefully opening each date and removing the seeds, creating a cavity for the filling.
  2. Using a Ziploc bag or piping bag, fill each date with creamy peanut butter, ensuring they are generously stuffed, and then sprinkle chopped peanuts over the top.
  3. In a saucepan over low heat or in the microwave, melt the dark chocolate with coconut oil until smooth.
  4. Dip each filled date into the melted chocolate, coating them entirely, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Optionally, for a festive touch, drizzle melted white chocolate with green food coloring over the chocolate-coated dates.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of Celtic salt and additional chopped peanuts over the top of each date.
  7. Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer and allow the chocolate to set for 1-3 hours, or until firm.
  8. Once frozen, serve and enjoy these indulgent homemade date Snickers!
