Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Servings: 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 block brie
  • 300 g cherry tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon oregano seasoning
  • 1 baguette

Method

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 360 °F (182 °C) and position the rack in the center of the oven.
  2. Prepare the Brie: Take the block of Brie and using a sharp knife, make four cuts on the top surface of the Brie. These cuts should be made halfway into the Brie, forming a cross pattern.
  3. Add Garlic: Slice the garlic cloves thinly. Insert the slices of garlic into the cuts you made on the Brie. The garlic will infuse its flavor into the cheese as it bakes.
  4. Add Cherry Tomatoes: Scatter cherry tomatoes around the Brie on the baking dish. You can use as many tomatoes as you prefer, depending on your taste.
  5. Season and Drizzle: Sprinkle the top of the Brie and the cherry tomatoes with oregano seasoning. Drizzle the Brie and tomatoes with olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated. Place a sprig of fresh rosemary on top of the Brie for added flavor.
  6. Prepare the Baguette: Slice the baguette into thin slices. Lay the slices on a baking sheet in a single layer. Drizzle olive oil over each slice and sprinkle with oregano seasoning.
  7. Bake: Place the baking dish with the Brie and cherry tomatoes, and the baking sheet with the baguette slices, in the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the Brie is soft and gooey, and the tomatoes are slightly blistered.
  8. Serve: Once baked, carefully transfer the Brie to a serving platter. Arrange the baguette slices around the Brie and serve immediately while everything is warm and gooey.
