- In a bowl, mix 2 tablespoon olive oil with all the seasonings & mix well. toss the shrimp in the marinade. Add the cornstarch to a bowl & coat each carinated shrimp until evenly coated.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for about 1-2 minutes per side, or until they turn golden and crispy. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In a bowl mix together all the sauce ingredients & in the same skillet, pour out the mixture. Stir well and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently until the sauce reduces and thickens slightly.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet, tossing them in the sauce to coat.
- Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and red pepper flakes for a kick of heat.
