3 Top Tips for Success
- Use Fresh Salmon: The best way to ensure a delicious dinner is by starting with fresh salmon from the grocery store. The easiest way to prepare it is by marinating it in a separate bowl with extra teriyaki sauce.
- Single Layer Cooking: For perfect air frying, place the salmon in a single layer on the air fryer basket. This ensures even cooking and avoids overcrowding. Adjust the cooking time to achieve the right amount of doneness.
- Reheat and Serve: Store any leftover teriyaki sauce and use it to reheat the salmon for a quick meal. Air frying is the easiest way to reheat and enjoy your delicious dinner a second time. Share your meal on social media for a great addition.
FAQ's
Cook salmon in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes at an internal temperature around 400°F, depending on thickness. Ensure it's in a single layer for even cooking.
To prevent sticking, lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil. Brush the top of the salmon with a bit of oil, too. The fatty acids in salmon help, but this ensures it remains intact during the cook time.
You don't need to flip salmon in the air fryer. Cooking it on one side only is one of the favorite ways to prepare it. Patting the skin side with paper towels before cooking helps crisp it up nicely.
