Substitutions
- Naan Bread: Substitute with Pita bread, flatbread, tortilla, or even a pre-baked pizza crust. If you want a more rustic option, you can use a slice of sourdough bread or French baguette.
- Ketchup: Substitute with BBQ sauce, tomato paste, or marinara sauce.
- Tomato Sauce: Substitute with Marinara sauce, crushed tomatoes, pizza sauce, or even salsa for a spicier twist.
- Dried Oregano Seasoning: Substitute with Italian seasoning, dried basil, thyme, or rosemary. Fresh oregano or basil leaves would also work if you have them.

3 Top Tips for Success
- Don’t Overload with Toppings: Keep toppings light to avoid soggy pizza and ensure even cooking.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: This helps the naan get crispy quickly and evenly.
- Use Fresh Cheese: Freshly shredded cheese melts better and gives a creamier texture compared to pre-shredded varieties.
FAQs
Yes! You can substitute naan with pita bread, flatbread, tortilla, or a pre-baked pizza crust.
Avoid overloading with sauce and toppings, and preheat the air fryer to ensure a crispy crust.
You can prep the pizza in advance, but for the best texture, air fry it just before serving. If reheating, use the air fryer to maintain crispiness.
