In Argentina, chimichurri is a popular marinade and sauce for grilled steak, but it’s also great with fish, chicken, lamb, or even pasta.

Ingredients

- Olive Oil
- Red Wine Vinegar
- Parsley, Finely Chopped
- Garlic, Minced
- Red Chili, Deseeded and Finely Chopped
- Coarse Salt
- Pepper

Add all ingredients to a bowl & mix.

Serve overtop your steak.
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and let the mixture sit for 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. For the best results, let it rest for over 2 hours if you have the time.
- Chimichurri can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
- Use it to baste meats like chicken or steaks while grilling or barbecuing. Although we prefer basting, you can use it as a marinade if you wish. Additionally, you can drizzle a couple of tablespoons over your steak when serving.

Coarse Salt: Regular Table Salt, Sea Salt or Kosher Salt

Store chimichurri in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. For longer storage, freeze it in ice cube trays and transfer the frozen cubes to a resealable plastic bag, keeping it in the freezer for up to three months.
