Instructions
Bake Shallots & Garlic for the Butter Mixture.
Make the Hot Honey.
Spread Butter Mixture onto Bread, add Grated Cheese on top & Bake.
Cut into Strips & Serve.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Garlic and Shallot: Cut the garlic cloves and shallot in half. Wrap them tightly in aluminum foil and place the packet on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the garlic and shallot are soft and fragrant.
Make the Hot Honey: While the garlic and shallot are baking, prepare the hot honey. In a small saucepan over low to medium heat, combine the honey, chili flakes, and hot sauce.
Stir the mixture continuously for 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and the honey is infused with the flavors of the chili and hot sauce. Remove from heat and set aside.
Prepare the Butter Mixture: In a mixing bowl, add the softened butter. Squeeze out the roasted garlic cloves and shallot from their skins and add them to the bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything together until well combined.
Prepare the Bread: Cut the loaf of bread in half lengthwise. Place both halves on a baking sheet.
The Fun Part...
Coat with Butter Mixture and Cheese: Spread the garlic and shallot butter mixture evenly over both halves of the bread. Sprinkle the grated marble cheese over the buttered bread.
Broil the Bread: Preheat your oven's broiler on high. Place the baking sheet with the prepared bread under the broiler and broil for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are crispy and golden brown. Keep a close eye on it to prevent burning.
Serve: Once the bread is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a minute or two. Cut the cheesy garlic bread into strips or slices and transfer them to a serving platter. Drizzle the hot honey over the top of the bread slices.
Enjoy: Serve the cheesy garlic bread with hot honey immediately while it's still warm and gooey. Enjoy the delicious combination of cheesy, garlicky goodness with a sweet and spicy kick from the hot honey!
