Substitutions

Argentinian shrimp: Substitute with any large shrimp available in your region, such as tiger shrimp or prawns.

Unsalted butter: Replace with regular salted butter, garlic butter for that extra flavor or use margarine as a non-dairy alternative.

Fresh Garlic: Substitute with garlic powder or garlic paste, garlic is one of the key flavors!

Tomato sauce: Use canned diced tomatoes or tomato puree as a replacement, seasoned with a pinch of sugar, salt, and pepper.

Heavy cream: Replace with coconut cream for a dairy-free option, or use full-fat coconut milk for a lighter alternative.

Fresh parsley: Substitute with dried parsley flakes, or use fresh cilantro or basil if available.

Linguine pasta: Replace with any type of long pasta shape you prefer, such as spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne.

Salt and Black Pepper: Use any type of salt you have on hand, such as table salt or sea salt, cajun seasoning and ground black pepper.

How to Store and Reheat

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

To reheat, place in a microwave-safe dish and microwave in 30-second intervals until heated through, stirring in between.

Alternatively, reheat on the stovetop over medium heat, add a splash of water or cream, stirring frequently, until warmed. Enjoy!

3 Top Tips for Success!

1. Season shrimp generously: Ensure each shrimp is well coated with the seasoning mix to enhance flavor. You can add some lemon zest if you'd like.

2. Simmer sauce adequately: Allow tomato sauce and cream to simmer together to meld flavors, but be careful not to overcook the shrimp.

3. Cook pasta al dente: Boil linguine until just tender to maintain texture when combined with the sauce and shrimp.
