Honey: Agave nectar or maple syrup.

Equipment

  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Food Processor
  • Measuring Cups

Storage

Store mango sorbet in an airtight container in the freezer. Ensure it's well-sealed to prevent freezer burn. Before serving, allow it to soften slightly at room temperature for easier scooping, or microwave briefly if needed. Avoid refreezing once fully thawed to maintain texture and flavor.

3 Top Tips for Success

  1. Choose Ripe and Flavorful Mangoes: Opt for ripe mangoes with a strong aroma for the best flavor in your sorbet. The sweetness and depth of flavor will significantly impact the final taste of your sorbet.
  2. Balance Sugar and Acid: Adjust the amount of sugar and acidity (usually from lemon or lime juice) to achieve a perfect balance. Too much sugar can overpower the mango flavor, while too little acid may result in a sorbet that tastes overly sweet.
  3. Chill Ingredients Before Churning: Ensure your mango puree and sugar syrup are well-chilled before churning in your ice cream maker. This helps achieve a smoother texture and reduces the time needed in the machine, minimizing ice crystal formation.

FAQ's
