Storage

Store the smoothie in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. For longer storage, freeze in a sealed container, leaving space for expansion. Thaw in the fridge overnight or blend again with a bit of liquid to restore consistency. Shake or stir well before consuming.

Top Tips for Success!

  1. Blend Thoroughly: Ensure a smooth texture by blending ingredients in stages—first, liquids and powders, then add frozen fruits. This prevents clumps and ensures even color distribution from the blue spirulina.
  2. Adjust Sweetness: Taste and adjust sweetness by adding a natural sweetener like honey, agave, or a few more frozen bananas if needed. This balances the flavors.
  3. Serve Fresh: For the best taste and vibrant color, enjoy the smoothie immediately after blending. If storing, give it a good shake or re-blend before drinking to restore its texture and consistency.

This nutrient density can support overall health, providing a wide range of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber in one delicious bowl.

2. Digestive Health: The fiber content in smoothie bowls, particularly from ingredients like leafy greens, berries, and flaxseed, supports healthy digestion and can help regulate bowel movements. This fiber also promotes a feeling of fullness, which can aid in weight management and prevent overeating.

3. Versatility and Customization: Smoothie bowls are highly customizable, allowing you to tailor them to your taste preferences, dietary needs, and fitness goals.
