- In a separate cup, dissolve 1-2 teaspoons of sugar in a hot shot of espresso or brewed coffee. Stir until fully combined.
- Pour the sweetened coffee over the milk and caramel, then stir everything together.

Substitutions
- Salted Caramel Sauce: Maple syrup, honey, or vanilla syrup
- Milk of Choice: Almond milk, oat milk, coconut milk, or soy milk
- Sugar: Honey, agave syrup, stevia, or monk fruit sweetener
- Espresso or Strong Brewed Coffee: Cold brew, instant coffee, or decaf coffee

Variations
1. Mocha Caramel Iced Coffee
- Add a drizzle of chocolate syrup along with the salted caramel for a rich mocha twist.
- Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder for an indulgent treat.
2. Vanilla Caramel Iced Coffee
- Substitute vanilla syrup for sugar to create a sweet, aromatic vanilla caramel combo.
- Add a splash of vanilla extract to the milk for an extra layer of flavor.
3. Cinnamon Caramel Iced Coffee
- Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top of the drink for a cozy, fall-inspired flavor.
- Add a dash of ground cinnamon to the espresso or coffee for a spiced twist.
Storage
Store any leftover Salted Caramel Iced Coffee in an airtight container or mason jar in the fridge for up to 2 days. Stir well before serving. For best results, add fresh ice when ready to enjoy, as ice in the stored coffee may dilute the flavor over time.
Top tips for Success
- Warm the Caramel: If the caramel sauce is thick or refrigerated, warm it slightly before adding it to the coffee to ensure it blends smoothly.
- Chill the Coffee: Brew your coffee or espresso ahead of time and chill it for a smoother, more refreshing iced coffee.
- Use Coffee Ice Cubes: Freeze leftover coffee into ice cubes to prevent dilution while keeping your drink cold and flavorful.
